The Dellonda DG233 provides the versatility of a flat-top plancha in a relatively compact portable package. Three stainless-steel burners deliver 7.5kW beneath a 62 x 36cm enamel-coated steel cooking plate, providing enough room to cook different ingredients simultaneously without worrying about smaller food falling through grill bars. Piezo ignition makes lighting straightforward, while the removable drip tray simplifies grease management. The regulator and hose are included, as is a water-resistant PVC cover for storage. Compared with a hooded gas barbecue it offers less scope for indirect roasting, but for quick outdoor meals, breakfasts, seafood and campsite cooking the format is particularly flexible.
