Should you buy it?
The Masterbuilt AutoIgnite 545 combines charcoal flavour with much of the convenience normally associated with electric or pellet grills. QuickStart ignition lights the charcoal at the press of a button, while a DigitalFan automatically manages airflow to maintain your chosen temperature between 120°C and 340°C. Controls can be adjusted on the grill or remotely through the Masterbuilt app over Wi-Fi. The MiniHopper is designed to hold enough charcoal for up to eight hours, while 545 square inches of cooking space, a removable QuickSear cast-iron griddle and FoldAway warming rack provide useful versatility. It's expensive, but substantially reduces the fire-management workload of traditional charcoal cooking.
