Should you buy it?
The Ottimo 350 combines a practical family-sized format with several features normally associated with more expensive gas BBQs. Four main burners give you flexible heat zones across the 60 x 38cm cooking area, while the dedicated side burner handles sauces or accompaniments. Enamelled cast-iron cooking grids should retain and distribute heat more effectively than lightweight wire grates, and the built-in thermometer supports more controlled lid-down cooking. Electronic ignition simplifies start-up, while the enclosed cabinet keeps the gas bottle and accessories out of sight. A grease-management system helps with cleaning afterwards. It's a substantial 123cm-wide unit, but for regular family entertaining its balance of cooking capability, materials and convenience is strong.
