Should you buy it?
The Tower Goucho takes a more flexible approach than a conventional gas grill by combining traditional grilling with a large plancha surface. Both sections measure around 50.5 x 39cm, giving substantial room for cooking burgers, steaks and skewers alongside foods better suited to a flat plate. Six burners provide the heat for larger gatherings, while the cast-iron grill is designed to retain and distribute heat evenly. A built-in thermometer supports more controlled cooking, and side shelves plus a lower shelf provide plenty of workspace and storage. The included protective cover is a welcome addition. Its sheer size is the main compromise, but for entertaining the dual-surface layout is genuinely useful.
